Alger, WA - Sun drenched Skagit Speedway saw racing action as hot as the weather was on the track with Jeremy Martin claiming top honors with the Washington Modified Tour on Saturday night. Tyler Thompson and Brian Michelson were feature winners in the Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprints and Outlaw Tuners respectively. Shipwreck Beads Northwest Modified Nationals Turns 20 This Friday and Saturday night, July 26th and 27th will mark the 20th Annual Shipwreck Beads Northwest Modified Nationals. Also on hand will be the PHRA Dwarf Cars for the Dwarf Car Challenge. Drivers from Washington, Oregon, and Canada will be in action on the 3/8's banked clay oval. The first night of the 20th Annual Shipwreck Beads Northwest Modified Nationals took to the 3/8 banked clay oval with 42 dirt modifieds in action. Also on hand were the PHRA Dwarf Cars for the Dwarf Car Challenge Shipwreck Beads Modifieds The night started off with two sets of heat races, with a total of ten, the points from both lines up the feature events for Saturday.
